Hair Removal Treatment is almost permanent and almost complete hair elimination through the light. It can be done with lasers, with IPL devices  (Intense Pulsed Light) and can be done with equipment using the latest technology: Intense Pulsed Light combined with Radio Frequency: The E-Light Technology.​

This latest technology, which is what we use in MyEpil, reduces the number of sessions by 20% and increases the volume of hair removed by 20%.

The Laser.
Lasers are devices that emit light of a single wavelength, it is a ray of light that is characterized as: Monochrome , Collimated and Coherent.

Treatments with Laser devices work properly only in very white skin and very dark hair, otherwise they are not very effective. Its main disadvantages are: pain, slowness and high cost of treatment. There are three types of lasers to Photo-epilation: Diode, Alexandrite and Neodymium - YAG.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Equipment of  Intense Pulsed Light (IPL ) issue, however a broad spectrum of wavelengths. The light emitted is characterized as Not Collimated, Polychromatic and  Incoherent.

Unlike laser emitting a broad spectrum of wavelengths, typically between 400 and 1200 nanometers. They are very effective in treating all types of hair on all skin types, and allow multiple treatments, such as skin tan removal, varicosities, acne clearance, skin rejuvenation, etc...

Its main advantage is security: the chances of damage to the skin are rare, and when this happens are very superficial.

Both types of light emitting devices are  based on Selective Photothermolysis. Light does not remove hair, but the heat. If a certain amount of heat causes the hair follicle cells are coagulated and die. The light is just a vehicle to bring the heat.

As we all know, energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one state to another, so the light being absorbed by melanin, is transformed into heat which will lower the stem, to the hair follicle, destroying cells and coagulating .

The hair is a good conductor of energy, all kind of energy. In 10 milliseconds captures any issue and leads, using this capability, to produce a high concentration of light energy, which is transformed into thermal energy (heat) that will produce the desired effects.

Undoubtedly, the Photo- epilation is the most economical and effective way to be rid of unwanted hair.

Few visitors to the classroom MyEpil be sufficient to achieve the elimination of 80-90% of the hair and possibly forever.
